~Let a dog lick butter off of it
~Put lard on first then dust with sulfur
~Salve of white pine resin and mutton tallow

A Sty can be removed by running the tip of a black cats tail across it.

Tonsil trouble~
Burn out with iodine and turpentine several time a day for months

Warts
~Tie a horsehair around it
~Use a piece of bacon or salt pork
~Rub with a rock, put rock in a box. Whoever opens the box will get them
~Steal a neighbors dishrag, Wipe it across the wart and bury rag in the woods

Yellow Jaundice
~Scrape a cows horn, boil the scraping and drink
